During the 17th Congress of the International Association of Buddhist Studies, held at the University of Vienna, Austria, Dr. Alexander Wynne delivered a lecture on 'The critical edition of the Pāli canon being prepared at Wat Phra Dhammakāya.' His presentation encompassed an overview of DTP's work, including manuscript digitization, computer programs, methods for selecting manuscripts, and the approach to creating a critical edition. Dr. Wynne also discussed the editorial policy established for the Tipiṭaka project as a whole.
In November 2014, DTP members actively took part in the 16th International Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries (ICADL 2014) held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The conference centered around the theme, "The Emergence of Digital Libraries Research and Practices," with topics categorized into five areas. Of particular note was the emphasis on "Digital Humanities" due to its emerging significance and the distinctiveness of the Asia-Pacific region's contributions to this field.
